Solina Redux
Synth by SONiVOX

Description
Have you ever wanted to hot rod an Arp Solina String Ensemble? Now you can. SONiVOX’s Solina Redux virtual instrument adds a sweet sounding virtual analogue synthesizer to a classic reproduction of an Arp Solina String Ensemble, then throws in TWO fully programmable 8-step sequencers to boot. It’s a match made in heaven and one that produces sonic textures you simply can’t get any other way.
The Arp Solina was the preeminent string ensemble in the 1970’s, made famous by the Eagles, Elton John, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Joy Division, Tangerine Dream, New Order and many others. Its analogue Violin, Viola, Cello, Contra Bass, Trumpet and Horn sounds have a sound that creates rich retro sounding orchestral ensembles, especially with its famous “Ensemble” chorus effect.
Solina Redux gives you access to the original Solina sounds, including a model of the Ensemble chorus effect, but includes a modern virtual analogue synthesizer as a sidecar. The combination of these two synthesizers provides a sound palette that is both retro and modern or anything in between at your discretion. Each synth includes a multi-mode filter, amplitude and filter envelopes, LFO modulations and send effects.
To top it off, Solina Redux adds in two fully programmable step sequencers, one for the Solina instrument and one for the analogue synthesizer. Play one note and out comes a modern orchestra unlike any you’ve heard. Each step sequencer gives you per step control over the pitch of each note, the volume of each note, the filter cutoff of each note, and the panning of each note. Other controls include gate time, tempo sync, time division, swing, note order and octave shift.

Choose from legendary pianos
If you could have the sound of any piano you wanted… oh, wait… now you do!
There are as many different sonic personalities as there are pianos. No two are alike, even the same model from the same manufacturer. Different songs and different tracks also demand specific qualities. That’s why Piano V gives you a total of nine different instruments spanning both grands and uprights. Just pick the preset that best serves you in the moment and you’re good to go. These models are totally malleable as well, letting go far beyond that to modify the different components that make up each instrument’s signature sound—everything from slight tweaks to extreme treatments. The possibilities are endless.
The Piano V gives you complete control over the character of your pianos for the ultimate in creative options.
Change the environment too
The Piano V lets you shape more than just the instrument. You can also change the room and recording setup to dramatically refine both spatial and timbral qualities to your taste.
A given piano can sound very different depending on its environment, miking and processing. That’s why we’ve factored all those elements into the Piano V models as well. With the simple click of the mouse, you can move any piano into a different type of room, select various mic positions, and shape the tonality with built-in EQ.

Equator2’s six independent Source Modules host any one of four synthesis engines for endless sonic combinations. A massive collection of wavetables, multi-samples and granular sources feed the Engines, and every Source Module incorporates its own multimode filter as well as dedicated sends to two further global filters for comprehensive tonal shaping.
-
Richly Detailed Samples - An integrated library of multi-sampled instruments ranges from vintage synths to the sitar, orchestral strings, and other acoustic instruments. It's accessible through the Sampler Engine, where you can also easily drag and drop your own samples.
-
Granular Engine - The Granular Engine slices samples into ‘grains' and helps you tweak their sequential playback, so you can create intriguing soundscapes and textures. Adjust scanning and grain generation rates, grain size and envelope shape, and more. Throw randomization into the mix for a touch – or a fistful – of glitch.
-
Wavetable Oscillator - The Wavetable Oscillator Engine is an inexhaustible source of classic analog waveforms, "designed" single-cycle waves and complex wavetables. Dial in-depth, edge, and character within the oscillator itself five unison voices, phase distortion, dual-source FM and ring modulation.
-
Noise Engine - A dedicated Noise Engine helps you play with noise, that essential component in percussion, pad, lead and other sounds. Choose from Pink, White and Crackle noise profiles, and customize the output with stereo Width and Density controls.
-
Filters and Saturation - Equator2 turns the frequency domain into your sound design playground with a dedicated multimode filter built into its six Source Modules, plus two global multimode filters switchable between four routing schemes and up to 12 more filters in the Effects section. Filter modules offer two flavours of distortion: the gentle Saturation mode and the more overtly destructive Wavefolder mode.
-
Global Routing - The Routing section in Equator2 allows for extensive and creative signal routing possibilities. Two multi-mode filters per voice with configurable routing allow you to send independent signal amounts through to effects, filters and ring mod to add depth, separation and complexity to your sounds.
Twist and Shape Iconic Sounds

Electric and Acoustic Instruments - The eclectic collection extends to European and North American instruments like upright and electric pianos, Wurlitzer and Hammond organs, acoustic guitars, electric and double basses.
-
Classical Instruments - A suite of multi-sampled classical instruments includes the harp, clarinet, bassoon, flute, oboe, tuba, trombone and trumpet, plus a variety of solo and ensemble strings in sustain, pizzicato and spizzicato articulations.
-
Granular Samples - To get the most out of ROLI's bespoke granular engine, ROLI has curated a set of 7 granular instruments, featuring over 250 quirky, mysterious and abstract samples that are perfect for creating huge washes of texture or crunchy, unpredictable mayhem.
-
Import your Own Samples - Import your own samples easily to the Sampler and Granular Engines by dragging and dropping. Add multi-samples in SFZ format. There’s literally no end to the sound combinations you can dream up and explore.
Add Expression and Movement
![]()
Equator2’s versatile modulation system — evolved from ROLI's Cypher2, Strobe2, and Equator engines — makes it easy to add modulation to any parameters. A flexible assembly of envelopes, LFOs, key-tracking sources, and macros animate patches and help you create deeply expressive sounds.
Modulate Everything
Modulation is critical to any great synth sound. Equator2 is packed with flexible source signal generators for automating any and all synthesis, filtering, effects and mixing parameters.
-
Envelopes - Five envelopes feature four operational modes — ADSR, ADR, ADADR and ADS-PR — plus shapable Attack, Decay and Release curves. Simultaneous graphical and dial-based interfaces let you hop effortlessly between intuitive editing and precision control.
-
LFOs - Five LFOs output a wide range of analog waveforms — including Random and S+H — at up to 40Hz with switchable polarity, host sync, adjustable fade-in and a choice of retriggering or free-running behaviour.
-
Multi-Mods - A cross between an LFO, a multi-stage envelope and a step sequencer, Equator2’s two Multi-Mod sources let you create custom modulation signals. Draw as many nodes or steps into the graph as you need, curve the lines between them, and set loop points or trigger your modulation in one-shot mode.
-
Key Tracking - Draw up to four independent keyboard-spanning mapping curves for separate modulation of multiple target parameters. Specify how those curves affect other mod sources with Add, Scale and Limit modes.
-
MPE Performance - Equator2 is built for MIDI Polyphonic Expression control. Tweak four editable mapping curves each for the Strike, Glide, Slide, Press and Lift dimensions of touch when playing on a ROLI Seaboard or other MPE controller. The same modulation curves switch seamlessly to Velocity, Pitch, Mod Wheel, Aftertouch and Note Off data streams for standard MIDI controllers. Five Macros provide further hands-on control.
Go Deep
Almost every parameter in Equator2 is available as a modulation target, from synth engine and filter controls to effects, signal routing levels and the modulation sources themselves.
-
Transfer Function Curves - Every modulation assignment has a dedicated Transfer Function curve editor for graphically defining the mapping between source output and target input.
-
Mod Matrix - The Mod Matrix lists all your modulation pairings in one place, providing a useful overview and Transfer Function curve editing.
-
Math Modules and Random - Combine pairs of modulation sources using mathematical functions and generate per-note random modulation signals with the Math Modifier and polyphonic Random modules.
Shape, Polish and Refine
![]()
Equator2 gives you the power to shape sounds with an expansive rack of effects, filters and dynamics processors. It’s easy to arrange and reorder effects with a flexible routing system and drag-and-drop slots.
Creative Effects
Refine, polish, and transform your sounds using any combination of 15 signal processing modules in Equator2’s 12-slot Effects Rack.
-
Dynamics - Level out uneven signals with Compressor, and add punch and space with Noise Gate.
-
Distortions and Filters - Two Distortion effects serve up a huge variety of saturation and decimation, while the Filter module replicates the functionality of the Source and Global Filters.
-
Modulation - Dial in rich ensemble and psychedelic modulation effects with Chorus, Flanger and Phaser.
-
Delays - Serve stereo echoes, vintage tape and BBD emulation, or glitchy granular mayhem with a trio of Delay effects.
-
Reverbs - Keep reverberation quick and easy with Lite Verb, or take full control with Big Verb.
-
Flexible Routing - Tailor the signal flow with four Effects Rack routing schemes, and FX Send controls on every Source Module, the Global Filters and the Main Out.

- World Instruments - Equator2 takes you travelling with its groundbreaking collection of world instruments, sampled by recording musicians from Japan to India. Explore the Appalachian dulcimer, Japanese koto, Indian santoor, and Chinese yangquin, among other wind, percussion, and acoustic instruments.
- Electric and Acoustic Instruments - The eclectic collection extends to European and North American instruments like upright and electric pianos, Wurlitzer and Hammond organs, acoustic guitars, electric and double basses.
- Classical Instruments - A suite of multi-sampled classical instruments includes the harp, clarinet, bassoon, flute, oboe, tuba, trombone and trumpet, plus a variety of solo and ensemble strings in sustain, pizzicato and spizzicato articulations.
- Granular Samples - To get the most out of ROLI's bespoke granular engine, ROLI has curated a set of 7 granular instruments, featuring over 250 quirky, mysterious and abstract samples that are perfect for creating huge washes of texture or crunchy, unpredictable mayhem.
- Import your Own Samples - Import your own samples easily to the Sampler and Granular Engines by dragging and dropping. Add multi-samples in SFZ format. There’s literally no end to the sound combinations you can dream up and explore.
Add Expression and Movement
Equator2’s versatile modulation system — evolved from ROLI's Cypher2, Strobe2, and Equator engines — makes it easy to add modulation to any parameters. A flexible assembly of envelopes, LFOs, key-tracking sources, and macros animate patches and help you create deeply expressive sounds.
Modulate Everything
Modulation is critical to any great synth sound. Equator2 is packed with flexible source signal generators for automating any and all synthesis, filtering, effects and mixing parameters.
- Envelopes - Five envelopes feature four operational modes — ADSR, ADR, ADADR and ADS-PR — plus shapable Attack, Decay and Release curves. Simultaneous graphical and dial-based interfaces let you hop effortlessly between intuitive editing and precision control.
- LFOs - Five LFOs output a wide range of analog waveforms — including Random and S+H — at up to 40Hz with switchable polarity, host sync, adjustable fade-in and a choice of retriggering or free-running behaviour.
- Multi-Mods - A cross between an LFO, a multi-stage envelope and a step sequencer, Equator2’s two Multi-Mod sources let you create custom modulation signals. Draw as many nodes or steps into the graph as you need, curve the lines between them, and set loop points or trigger your modulation in one-shot mode.
- Key Tracking - Draw up to four independent keyboard-spanning mapping curves for separate modulation of multiple target parameters. Specify how those curves affect other mod sources with Add, Scale and Limit modes.
- MPE Performance - Equator2 is built for MIDI Polyphonic Expression control.
- Transfer Function Curves - Every modulation assignment has a dedicated Transfer Function curve editor for graphically defining the mapping between source output and target input.
- Mod Matrix - The Mod Matrix lists all your modulation pairings in one place, providing a useful overview and Transfer Function curve editing.
- Math Modules and Random - Combine pairs of modulation sources using mathematical functions and generate per-note random modulation signals with the Math Modifier and polyphonic Random modules.
Shape, Polish and Refine
Equator2 gives you the power to shape sounds with an expansive rack of effects, filters and dynamics processors. It’s easy to arrange and reorder effects with a flexible routing system and drag-and-drop slots.
Creative Effects
Refine, polish, and transform your sounds using any combination of 15 signal processing modules in Equator2’s 12-slot Effects Rack.
- Dynamics - Level out uneven signals with Compressor, and add punch and space with Noise Gate.
- Distortions and Filters - Two Distortion effects serve up a huge variety of saturation and decimation, while the Filter module replicates the functionality of the Source and Global Filters.
- Modulation - Dial in rich ensemble and psychedelic modulation effects with Chorus, Flanger and Phaser.
- Delays - Serve stereo echoes, vintage tape and BBD emulation, or glitchy granular mayhem with a trio of Delay effects.
- Reverbs - Keep reverberation quick and easy with Lite Verb, or take full control with Big Verb.
- Flexible Routing - Tailor the signal flow with four Effects Rack routing schemes, and FX Send controls on every Source Module, the Global Filters and the Main Out.
Explore Mind-Bending Sounds
Equator2 ships with the biggest, broadest library of MPE sounds in existence. With over 1,300 expertly crafted presets — including over 500 new sounds built for MPE and 800 standard MIDI presets for conventional controllers — Equator2 offers a kaleidoscope of sounds for any music maker.
Made for Seaboard
Designed to harness the unparalleled expressiveness of MPE, the Seaboard is the perfect controller for Equator2. Maximize control of Equator2's sounds and samples on the touch-responsive surface of the Seaboard RISE and Seaboard Block.

Sounds Better than Both Analog & Digital
Almost all digital synthesizers on the market produce severe aliasing. Some try to fight it by oversampling, some ignore it, and others simply add some noise and tell you that this simulates analog synthesizers. Analog synthesizers on the other hand suffer from limited versatility, distortion induced by the imperfection of the analog components, and, of course, noise. MPowerSynth oscillators provide crystal clear sound free of any aliasing, distortion and other imperfections. But of course, if you want to make it less perfect, MPowerSynth gives you plenty of opportunities to do so. Don't take our word for it - get the trial and check it yourself! If you don't hear it, just use an analyzer, MAnalyzer is free :).

Just Like Playing the Real Thing
There’s nothing quite like playing a Rhodes… except playing the Stage-73 V.
There have been a lot of attempts to emulate the Fender Rhodes. You already know that most software, and even hardware, based on samples falls well short of the mark. That’s what inspired us to instead apply Arturia's critically acclaimed modelled technology to the whole system—including the tines (metal tone rods), the hammers that strike them, the pickups that generate the electromagnetic current, and the circuits that amplify it all. The sum total is a totally authentic homage that stands on its own.
Stage-73 V isn’t just one instrument - it’s many. It encapsulates a range of Rhodes piano models, from Stage to Suitcase, ‘73 or ‘74, Classic to Modern, putting a huge range of hearty sounds at your disposal - luscious vibrato and all.
Once you’ve played the Stage-73 V, you won’t settle for anything less.

Unprecedented Intimate Control
The Stage-73 V gives you access to the controls of the original instruments—plus many adjustments you’ve never been able to get your hands on before.
To capture that authentic Rhodes magic, we had to dive deep. Stage-73 V2’s physical modelling sound engine offers an electric piano experience that’s so realistic, you’ll forget you’re playing a software instrument.
Whether you just want to rock the designer presets or get busy with mods of your own, the Stage-73 V has the flexibility to be just about any electric piano you want it to be.
Warmth, Crunch, and Colour
Stage-73 V is designed as a tailor-made Rhodes toolkit. With a newly-integrated pedal rig, you can add emulated stompboxes to your chain, from red-hot distortion to glorious tape echo. Assemble your own fully-customizable keyboard rig.
Amp it Up
You’ve chosen your electric piano model. You’ve chosen your stompboxes. What better way to round it off than with a cranked amp? Choose from the sparkling valve response of the Twin Amp, or the lush stereo revolutions of the Rotary Speaker - complete with amp controls and custom room settings. Give your electric piano the rock ‘n’ roll edge it deserves.
Ahead of the Curve
Go beyond emulation; Stage-73 V is yours to customize. Open up the Advanced Panel, and you’ll find an array of enhancements that put you firmly in charge of every aspect of your sound:
- Choose your hammer hardness, from soft felt to sharp metallic strikes.
- Incorporate realistic ambient noise, from pickup hum to tine overtones.
- Draw your own velocity curve for a custom playing response from your keyboard.
- Tweak the pickup settings to drastically affect the instrument’s electric character.
- Easily adjust the dynamics and tone bar resonance and find your acoustic preference.

Lounge Lizard EP-4
Synth by Applied Acoustics Systems
Images
Description
Authentic Tone, Action and Feel.
The Lounge Lizard EP-4 plug-in delivers authentic vintage electric piano sounds in an everything-you-need package.
In the Studio
When time matters, simply pick from more than 100 custom electric piano presets. But when sound exploration is on the program, players will dig the real-time controls over hammer hardness, tine colour and decay, damper noise, and pickup placement for an unsurpassed level of customization.
Live on Stage
Gigging musicians will appreciate Lounge Lizard's small memory footprint, instant preset recalls, and stability. Furthermore, the huge library of classic electric piano sounds as well as the complete selection of effects makes it easy to build a set list and get the perfect tone for each song.
Alive Beneath Your Fingers
There is something quite immersive when a connection develops between the player and the instrument. Whether it's the perfectly smooth velocity progression or the interactive reaction to your performance, Lounge Lizard makes that connection happen.
Beyond the Electric Piano
Lounge Lizard achieves convincing electric piano tones with less than twenty synth parameters. That's a quite a feat by itself, but pushed further, these parameters reveal a realm of other tones. Organs, bells, chimes, leads are all featured in the preset library's Experimental folder.
Custom Tones
Even though famous players shared the same brand and models, they were all achieving their own signature sound. Nevertheless, that usually meant spending many hours under the hood with screwdrivers, wrenches, or even a solder iron. What's fun with Lounge Lizard is that whether you're looking to emulate a particular sound or simply find your own, all those tweaks are just a few knob turns away!
-
NEW Factory Library - The completely renewed factory library features the classic electric piano sounds as well as over 200 gig- and mix-ready custom electric pianos making good use of the compressor, equalizer, and multi-effect processor.
-
NEW Compressor and Equalizer - These new additions are perfect to add punch and definition to your sound, letting you cut through any dense mix or stage.
-
NEW Character Control - The new Character control provides five classic studio and stage signal path emulations – that's the cabinet, pre-amp, microphone, and recorder chain that follows the piano's output – to easily snug fit your electric piano part into your track.
-
NEW Limiter - The new output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the piano's physical modelling parameters while providing a maximum of distortion-free dynamics.
-
NEW Streamlined Interface - Redesigned from the ground up, the new interface now divides Lounge Lizard EP-4 into three panels: Play presents shortcuts to the main piano and effect parameters including bypass switches for quick edits; Edit lets you get under the hood and voice the piano to taste; while FX supplies equalizer, compressor, multi-effect, and reverb processors for final shaping duties.
-
NEW Bank and Program Manager - Lounge Lizard EP-4's new manager allows for simple and efficient organization, backup, and sharing of your sounds.
-

- NEW Factory Library - The completely renewed factory library features the classic electric piano sounds as well as over 200 gig- and mix-ready custom electric pianos making good use of the compressor, equalizer, and multi-effect processor.
- NEW Compressor and Equalizer - These new additions are perfect to add punch and definition to your sound, letting you cut through any dense mix or stage.
- NEW Character Control - The new Character control provides five classic studio and stage signal path emulations – that's the cabinet, pre-amp, microphone, and recorder chain that follows the piano's output – to easily snug fit your electric piano part into your track.
- NEW Limiter - The new output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the piano's physical modelling parameters while providing a maximum of distortion-free dynamics.
- NEW Streamlined Interface - Redesigned from the ground up, the new interface now divides Lounge Lizard EP-4 into three panels: Play presents shortcuts to the main piano and effect parameters including bypass switches for quick edits; Edit lets you get under the hood and voice the piano to taste; while FX supplies equalizer, compressor, multi-effect, and reverb processors for final shaping duties.
- NEW Bank and Program Manager - Lounge Lizard EP-4's new manager allows for simple and efficient organization, backup, and sharing of your sounds.
- UPDATED Overhauled Effects - Reinvigorated, polished, and tuned especially for the electric piano, Lounge Lizard EP-4's multi-effect processor features our best sounding chorus, delay, phaser, flanger, distortion, notch filter, wah-wah, auto-wah, and reverb to date!

Synth by Arturia
Images
Description
Legendary Growl Machine
The OB-Xa V takes the immense analogue power of the fat, aggressive sounding OB-Xa from the 80s charts to the modern era. Faithful to the sound of the original and supercharged with new features, OB-Xa V will take you for a wild sonic ride.
Longing to sound like the biggest icons of the 80s? Jump into the dream world of the future by activating the brand new features of the evolved synth.
Immerse yourself in this quirky synth and whip up new songs with the fat, creamy sounds that made it famous. Not only will you feel the original sound of punchy bass, thick analogue pads and drones, and cyclical effects at your fingertips, you’ll also have access to brand new features that will bring out this iconic sound deeper than ever. OB-Xa V is here to let you spin that audio hurricane!
OB-Xa V has been one of Arturia's most requested synths, so they took extra care to make it more satisfying than you’d ever expect. That’s right - they went back to the future!
![]()
Punchy Synth Icon
Released in December 1980, the OB-Xa made a massive statement in the world of analogue synths. Following the release of accessible digital synthesizers, Oberheim brought in added polyphony, big sound, and impressive power to show the world what synth greatness really means, and it became an instant rival to its main competitor, Sequential Circuits’ Prophet 5.
OB-Xa is a hugely iconic synth behind Van Halen’s hit ‘Jump’ and albums by Prince, Queen, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Chaka Khan, The Police, and more. Its dangerous, all-embracing sound is perfect for expressing the epic, heart-crushing drama of life. It’s used today by the likes of Flume, Chrome Sparks, Calvin Harris, and Venetian Snares, entering a new dimension of electronic music. Arturia's faithful reproduction of OB-Xa with extra inspiration taken from the OB-X and OB-8 for the most satisfying result will be perfect for keyboardists and synth programmers.
It’s your turn to break free and let the world hear your rebel yell.

Sonic Alchemy for the 21st Century
OB-Xa was a hugely sought-after synth in its own time. With Arturia's carefully thought out features implemented, Arturia made it even more intelligent, intuitive, and inspiring to use.
-
Stereo Spread: The pioneering stereo spread feature lets your ears immerse into sound movement.
-
Arpeggiator: The arpeggiator generates expressive patterns and melodies to enhance your musical rhythms.
-
LFO: More flexibility of the LFO allows in-depth sound design capabilities and brings movement and excitement to the sound.
-
Cross Modulation: The oscillators’ continuous cross-modulation allows one oscillator to modulate the other one. This leads to frequency modulation, resulting in a nice, metallic sound. It’s parallel to the 0 to 1 switch on the original OB-X hardware.
-
Oscillator’s Mix: Oscillators’ mix in the filter section lets you take your sound sources and craft them to achieve the end result you desire.

Zebra2: A Synth of all Stripes
Zebra2 is a sound-design playground. A powerful, high quality (but still CPU friendly) sound engine together with numerous sound sculpting tools makes Zebra2 capable of a near-limitless range of new sounds and textures. A favourite amongst soundtrack composers, producers and sound designers, Zebra2 provides all the tools you need—the rest is up to you.
Workhorse with stripes
Zebra is our wireless modular synthesizer. It combines many different types of synthesis with a powerful modulation engine. Imagine - you can create any additive, freehand or spline-based waveform you like, apply a vast selection of spectral effects, morph between those waves and send them through classic synth filters. Perhaps use that entire sound as a modulator for an FM oscillator, or route it through a comb filter - the building block of physical modelling synthesis. All generator modules, all signal paths, all effects are stereo.
Although the possibilities are practically infinite, you will never be overwhelmed by needless complexity - Zebra’s adaptive interface only shows the modules you are actually using. It is a fascinating playground for sound designers. That is what Zebra is all about, that is why it has become so popular. That is why thousands of free presets are available online.
Why we think you will love Zebra...
- The unique patching system is a bliss to work with, complexity never gets in your way
- It is renowned for crystal-clear quality… which can turn dark & dirty if you want
- No static samples here—pure synthesis delivers more expressive & natural sounds
- Heavily featured in blockbusters The Dark Knight, Inception, Transformers, Tron: Legacy…
- The editor window is resizable, and there are some nice alternative skins available
- It has an independent charm, with a vibrant community of helpful users in the KVR forum
- The clever design and adaptive ui keep everything you need on a single page
- …and so much more

Infinite Cross-Mod Synthesizer
Sounds from Another Dimension
Enter a world of sound design adventures with Cypher2, the infinite Cross-Mod synth from the creators of Equator2. Featuring a vast range of presets plus premium oscillators, filters, sequencers and effects, Cypher2 takes sound design to another dimension.
A Transformational Synth, Reborn
Building on the powerhouse capabilities of the original, Cypher2 adds an inspiring array of new features and propels the synth to the cutting edge of sound design.
Vast Timbral Variety
![]()
Create the bones of your sound by twisting and modulating three oscillators in any direction. Play with a vast range of timbres.
FM - The three FM oscillators at the heart of Cypher2 feature linear thru-zero behaviour that keeps sounds in tune while allowing for timbral creativity. Each oscillator can smoothly morph between waveforms and can run at its own rate and tuning if needed.
Fine-Tuning - As well as tuning with coarse and fine-tune parameters, phase position and phase reset can be controlled for surgical sound design. Each oscillator frequency can also be synced to the internal clock for rhythmic possibilities.
Cross Modulation Possibilities - Each oscillator has huge cross-modulation potential. FM, hard sync and ring modulation can be used to modulate one oscillator with another and create harmonically rich timbres. Route each oscillator to one of two separate filter channels to expand your sounds.
Deep Tone Sculpting
![]()
Sculpt tone and resonance with dual multi-mode filters, each with six modelled filter circuits. Experience advanced filtering and waveshaping.
Filters - Cypher2 has a dual-filter topology, with each filter offering a choice of five different analogue circuit models - each based on classic synths - plus a digital comb filter. Each circuit model in turn offers a range of filter shapes and responses, for the widest variety of sound sculpting possibilities.
Waveshapers - Each filter is paired with a polyphonic waveshaper and wavefolder, capable of subtle overdrive to extreme distortion. The waveshaper / wavefolders can be configured as pre or post filters.
Filter Routing - Route filters in series or parallel, with independent polyphonic control over panning and FX bus routing. You can route the attack portion of the signal, for example, to a different FX chain than the sustain — or use an MPE source such as Pressure to control polyphonic filter mixing.
Impressive Effects
![]()
Explore a wealth of effects from delays and distortion to chorus and reverb, for everything from fine-tuning to all-out sonic destruction.
Delays - From classic dub delay to synced complex rhythms, Cypher2 offers a wide range of delay fx tones from vintage to modern.
Reverb - Add gigantic space or a roomy feel to your sounds, or even twist them into the beyond with the range of reverb modules that are available.
Chorus, Phaser and Flanger - Explore time-based effects like Phaser and Flanger that add luscious depth and texture to your sounds.
Distortion, Compression and EQ - Distortion and compression modules help your sound sit in the mix, whether you're looking for delicate fine-tuning or all-out destruction.
Introducing TransMod
![]()
With FXpansion's Transmod system, intuitively link any parameter destination to a huge range of sources, and bring more expressive movement to your sounds. Intuitive TransMod modulation system and powerful sequencing.
TransMod - Keeping track of complex modulation routing has never been easier. FXpansion's TransMod system, updated for Cypher2, lets you apply modulation directly to parameters in a highly intuitive way.
Modulation Sources - Harness a variety of polyphonic and mono modulation sources, including voice and unison, for advanced detuning possibilities.
Step Sequencer and Arpeggiator - An MPE-optimised step sequencer and arpeggiator let you modulate sounds and patterns at the same time, allowing for endlessly evolving melodies.

Jup-8 V
Synth by Arturia
Images
Description
![]()
The Analogue Vanguard
Jup-8 V sends an undisputed analogue titan into the 21st century at warp-speed. Rebuilt from scratch, this dream synthesizer goes beyond authentic with an earth-shaking sound fused with expansive sound design flexibility and channels the unmistakably awe-inspiring polysynth power of the iconic Jupiter-8. From fluorescent ‘80s pads to dancing modulated arps, it’s hard to think of a classic synth sound that this analogue powerhouse can't do.
Managing to be simultaneously fat, airy and crystal clear, Jup-8 V uses Arturia's unrivalled analogue modelling technology to deliver the full head-turning sound that defined - and continues to define - countless records. Not only that; Arturia have turned up the heat on this giant, combining it with dynamic modern features that’ll take your sonic voyage further than ever before.
The Return of a Giant
Many consider the Jupiter-8 to be the greatest synthesizer ever made. Introduced in 1981, it was Japan’s answer to the American-dominated synth market - heads were turned. For synth enthusiasts, professional hitmakers, and performing keyboardists alike, the Jupiter-8 truly raised the bar.
Its extensive feature-set, from keyboard splitting to intricate modulation, was considered years ahead of its time - and it quickly became something of a household name in the synthesizer world.
![]()
All-powerful Then, All-powerful Now
Jup-8 V restores this peerless icon to its former glory, painstakingly emulated down to the finest detail. Enjoy that hairs-on-end sound and a classic hands-on synth workflow that’s inspired countless musicians over the decades. Component-level modelling meets an authentic slider-based interface.
The Jupiter voice took audiences’ collective breath away in the ‘80s and still does to this day. Its enormous flexibility and larger-than-life stereo sound made waves - but its true power was in its 16-oscillator voice architecture.
Jup-8 V puts this unstoppable analogue power at your fingertips, in spectacularly colourful detail.

VCOs with Character
Not just 2 oscillators per voice; 2 oscillators with their own distinct characters per voice. These characters let you switch between using fine-tuning, a noise waveform, octave ranges, switchable sync - the list goes on. These ultra-simple VCO controls offer an explosion of timbral possibilities, just like the original.
An LFO You Can Count On
It does what it says on the tin - a simple monophonic LFO for when you need things to rumble, shake, wobble, and weave. 4 shapes, tempo sync, with a little bit of delay and optional retrig to make it sit right where your song needs it to.
VCO Modulation
Ask anyone what features they loved about the Jupiter synthesizers, and ‘cross-modulation’ will likely be a hot topic. Jup-8 V delivers the goods. Dial-in basic VCO frequency modulation to taste, 3 modes of pulse-width modulation, or go full cross-mod for those dynamite sci-fi sweeps straight out of a John Carpenter movie.
![]()
Twin Envelope Generators
Employ Jup-8 V’s 2 x ADSR envelope generators for shaping your voice and sprinkling sonic variation that responds to every note you play. The controls in each section let you dial in however much ENV modulation you feel like:
- ENV 1 can modulate the VCO pitch, PWM and VCF cutoff
- ENV 2 can modulate the VCO pitch, VCF cutoff, and VCA level
No menu-diving, no complex patching. These envelopes don’t mess about.
VCF or HPF?
Tame those planet-sized analogue oscillators with a dual filter configuration that proved so popular, it continued appearing in Roland synthesizers for years after the Jupiter-8’s release.
Enjoy spine-tingling sweeps and bubbling bass thanks to a resonant low pass VCF, with a separate hi-pass filter to smooth out your low end. Of course, Jup-8 V’s filter section wouldn’t be complete without some hefty modulation to play with. Get that filter in line with your performance with LFO, ENV and keyboard control.
![]()
Stack & Spread
When you’ve got a single note stacked 8 voices high, the fatness is undeniable. But when you need that extra oomph factor, Unison Detune is your secret weapon.
Voice Dispersion
Sometimes it’s the smallest imperfections that make the biggest difference. Introducing Voice Dispersion, a detailed emulation of the naturally-occurring voltage variations that give these analogue relics so much character.
Express Yourself
Add ghost notes and semitone glides to taste with Jup-8 V’s Bender, routed directly to either VCO, or both at once.
The Arpeggiator
The humble arpeggiator is as much a part of the familiar classic synth sound as an analogue oscillator. Jup-8 V brings the simplicity of the Jupiter-8’s instant-access arpeggiator and boosts it with extra modes and tempo sync.
![]()
What's New?
Sometimes the nostalgic immersion and raw power of a vintage synthesizer is all you crave. But sometimes, you can’t help but think… "...what if?"
What if your analogue polysynth had more than 1 LFO to push its sound design capabilities further? What if you could combine the gratifying playability of a classic keyboard with the cutting-edge flexibility of a modulation step-sequencer? What if you could instantly combine organic VCO warmth with crystal-clear digital FX in a single instrument?
With Jup-8 V, there are no ‘what ifs’.
![]()
Modulation that Goes Further
No emulation would be complete without the modulation capabilities of Jup-8 V’s hardware ancestor - but Arturia took it a step further with 2 additional complex LFOs and a complex Modulation Mixer for more sonic variation than you can shake a stick at.
Next-level Sequencing
Jup-8 V comes armed with 2 x 32-step sequencers for Notes and Modulation respectively. Better still, both of these sequencers have been enhanced in parallel, with simplified sync options, independent sequence lengths, intuitive pitch values, scales, and more - simply giving you greater control when constructing musical ideas.
![]()
Keyboard Expressivity
With Jup-8 V, the keyboard does more than play notes.
The Advanced panel also conceals in-depth controls that let you harness the keyboard response for your own creative purposes. This detailed 4-part section allows you to program Velocity, Aftertouch, Keyboard Tracking, and Modwheel information to affect up to 3 destinations.
Craft your own curves, personalize your dynamic response, and wire any aspect of Jup-8 V to respond to every note that plays - you’re in control.
![]()
Digital FX
While the iconic power of the Jupiter sound lies in its unique voice architecture and modulation flexibility, a little FX never hurt anyone. Does Jup-8 V need 11 new FX to sound great? No. Does it sound absolutely mind-blowing with them added to the mix? Without a doubt.
Send your pads echoing around moon craters, or bathe them in a tide of rich analogue chorus. Crush your basslines with digital grit, or slam them with heavy compression for old-school tightness. 3 FX slots, configurable in series or parallel, with 11 FX to choose from… that’s 11 new ways to take this classic sound to another level.

A New Sound Engine
Jup-8 V’s new sound engine was totally rebuilt using the latest DSP technology to ensure that this virtual instrument is as authentic as it is powerful, as stable and reliable as it is sincerely imperfect. From subtle analogue voice dispersions to the meticulously replicated filter section, this faithful reimagining is as close to the real thing as it gets.

Its unique combination of high-fidelity 8-bit sound, warm analogue filter, and instantly-recognisable sample library is sure to spark instant creativity, just as the original once did. When you want lo-fi grain, ‘80s sheen, or a sampling flow that stands out from the crowd, look no further.
Changing the sampling game
An instrument that graced every ‘80s line-up. An icon from the early days of sampling. A unique character that helped define the sound of a decade and beyond. The Emulator II’s digital charm and tactile layout made it the musical weapon of choice for everyone from Depeche Mode to Trent Reznor.
The Emulator series was the work of E-mu Systems in the 1980s. Upon release, the Emulator II was met with critical acclaim, combining the novel versatility of sampling with the familiar layout of a classic synthesizer.

Is it Modern? Is it Vintage?
It’s both. Emulator II V comes loaded with a curated sample library that mixes iconic Emulator & Synclavier samples with a diverse modern selection. Better still, you can import your own samples to give them that diamond retro treatment, or dive deeper into its sampling architecture with enhanced editing tools.
And if you want the samples in your mix to bring a vibe of their own, what better way than to use a sampler straight from the old school? Choose between modern DAC and a faithful emulation of the original hardware’s DAC and let the lo-fi vibes roll...

Sampler heart, Synth brain
Instrument first, sampler second. Part of what made the Emulator hardware so popular was the fact that it behaved like a synthesizer, but with the flexibility of using samples - its multitimbrality meant up to 8 samples could be played at once on your keyboard.
Main Controls
-
Arpeggiator: 6-mode arpeggiator to set your ideas free so you can focus on dynamics and expression.
-
Wheels: 2 assignable expression wheels give this sampler an expressive edge.
-
Master Control: Assign and cross-fade up to 8 separate samples across your keyboard range.
-
LFO: Each sample is polyphonic within its keyboard zone, with its own filter, VCA, and LFO.
-
Effects: Add effects per sample to really customize your Emulator palette in sonic detail.
Emulator II V’s authentic 8-voice multitimbral architecture allows you to play whatever samples you choose like your own custom orchestra - complete with expression and performance tools. This classic sampler is designed to let you express yourself.
What's New?
Emulator II V’s interface is designed to be authentic and immersive - but there’s more than meets the eye. Zoom in on the built-in display to access in-depth sampling editing, expressive modulation, and a suite of FX that go beyond the original - and that’ll cement Emulator II V as your favourite outside-the-box sampler.
Edit
- Adjust the behaviour of each of your 8 ‘voices’ (samples), including transpose, sample looping, play direction, trig delay, and much more.
- Gain more control over your LFO settings, with parameters including rate sync, delay, variation and more.
- Tap into the deeper functions of the warm analogue filter and VCA to further shape the playback and tone of your samples.
- Choose specific FX per sample (‘voice’) to craft a palette to suit your style, from new wave to industrial techno.
- Switch to a DAC that suits your taste - choose from modern clean or an emulation of the original crispy digital charm.
Assign
- Control every aspect of how your keyboard/note range interacts with each of your samples, from zone assignment to aftertouch.
- Harness the keyboard/note input as a modulation tool - velocity, keyboard tracking, and aftertouch can be configured to manipulate the same 16 destinations.
- Easily assign samples to different note ranges on your keyboard by easily dragging across the visual interface.
- Set up the left and right expression wheels to affect 1 of 16 modulation destinations, from LFO rate to pitch transpose.
Effects
The simple addition of 11 FX algorithms is the final trick up Emulator II V’s sleeve. Whether you want to add isolated reverb to your snare sample, or just whack a swirling phaser on the master output, Emulator II V is on your level.
Apply an effect to any sample independently, apply up to 3 FX to the output, and opt for series or parallel depending on your tonal preference - get ready to send this sampler into sonic orbit.

String Studio VS-3
Synth by Applied Acoustics Systems
Images
Description
String Studio VS-3 is a multitimbral synthesizer in which a collection of unique string oscillators replaces the traditional VCOs, DCOs, and operators as the main sound source. Consisting of picks, bows, and hammers interacting with a modelled string, these oscillators offer a special blend of modern and creative synthesis. Augmented with a soundboard, classic filters, an enveloppe generator, a LFO, and studio-quality effects, String Studio VS-3 proposes a brand-new path in the quest for tone.
Note: Upgrade & Bundle are also available.
What's New
We have streamlined String Studio and brought it to a whole new level - it will change your perspective on what a synthesizer can be.
- NEW Two-Voice Multitimbral: String Studio VS-3 combines two independent timbres—either stacked or split—to create performance-friendly, texture-full, and spacious sounds that are sure to make a good impression.

PolyM

Description
Unique Features, Unique Sound
![]()
The T.O.D Oscillators 'Pleasure Principle'
A few factors determined the iconic sound of the PolyM glorious ancestor: Two T.O.D Oscillators (Top Octave dividers), with PER NOTE Pulse Width Modulation, initially used to get a big polyphony (at this time). A gritty Moog-designed 24db Ladder Filter. An acoustic Filter Bank. And, finally, a character full Resonator Bank.
To take up the emulation gauntlet, more than two years were necessary to closely, patiently model these 71 components to finally come up with the best and most versatile Divided-down synthesiser ever done
Because XILS Lab not only exposed some parameters that were not accessible on the original machine, allowing you to dive into the machinery and mod it without a screwdriver, a soldering iron, and electronic components.
XILS Lab has also added a more traditional analog VCA ADSR, a plethora of LFO to modulate almost everything, and a trio of vintage-sounding effects among others things.
Using divide-down technology offers a particular sound for Chords, Strings, and Pads you won't find in any other synthesiser.
With this unit, feeding a monophonic zero-delay 24db self-oscillating filter, retriggered by keyboard strokes, gives you the possibility to play huge sounds in a way no other synthesiser can (PolyPedal behaviour emulated). Original presets, like 'Vox Humana', are also on board.
What's new in V1.5?
- GUI - More sizes.
- OSX - Apple M1 compatibility.
- VST3 plug-in.
- New Arppegiator with extended modulation.
- New Factory presets from Zensound (Adrian Jimenez), Daniel Stawczyk, Adam Borseti.
- Easy global A3 tuning (440hz, 432hz, anything else).
- Easy Octave change.

Top Octave Divider Oscillators
A technology first invented for organ synthesisers then adapted in more versatile synthesisers back in the '70s. In this technology, a high-frequency oscillator is divided into 12 temperated scale intervals for producing a full octave, which is then divided by a multiple of 2 for creating several octaves. This means that all the notes are locked to a single oscillator and then always played with the same relative phase. This produces a particular sound aside from giving a wide polyphony.
The PolyM reproduces finely this divide-down technology which has been pushed far by adding a polyphonic Pulse Width Modulation.
The two top octave dividers oscillators can run independently in the FREE mode, for small or huge phasing effects. On the other hand, in the LOCK mode, the two oscillators are almost locked in phase, producing a phase modulation, instead of a frequency modulation when the square wave form is modulated in pitch.
The two T.O.D oscillators can be modulated in pitch by an LFO (tempo sync-able) and the Square oscillator has its pulse width modulated by an LFO (tempo sync-able too).
The Keyboard is divided into two parts, Lower and Upper, and for each part, the PWM, waveform mix, and envelope decay can be tweaked independently.
The Master Gain control allows you to easily listen to various parts of the sound, DIRECT oscillator mixers output, through the MODE acoustic filters, through the RESonator filter bank, or through the 24db VCF filter.
The envelope has two modes, LEGacy or ADSR. In the first case, the envelope has been designed to match as close as possible its model and in the other case, it's a standard ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope generator.
![]()
Each note has its own 12db filter, modulated by its own ADSR envelope giving the PolyM much more possibility than a simple Organ like synthesiser, much more than its model which modulated its filter only with the VCA envelope.
Moreover, The PolyM can change the filter type from Low Pass to High Pass and Band Pass.
MODE Acoustic Filters and Presets
The blue buttons are selecting the Acoustic filter ran in the MODE filter bank section. They can also load the PolyM with the original settings for producing specific sounds (Strings, Piano, Organ, Harps, Funk, Clav, Vibes, Brass, Vox). When the DOT button is engaged, only the MODE filter is changed.
![]()
The Resonators filter bank features three parametric filters for which Frequency, Level or Resonance can be adjusted. These filters can be Low Pass, Band Pass, or High Pass, 6db or 12db.
![]()
The VCF Section (Voltage Controlled Filter) is a 24db self-oscillating ladder filter, created from the XILS-Lab Zero-Delay Algorithm. It can be modulated by an LFO (sine, sample, and hold) as well as an independent envelope, controlled by the keyboard in a monophonic way.
![]()
And finally, In the Advance Settings Panel, you will find 9 Modulation slots, Delay, Phaser, and Reverb settings.
Everything to push the PolyM sound possibilities far away from its model, but keeping the pleasure characteristic.
Features:
- Two aliasing-free Top Octave Divider oscillators: One for the Sawtooth, the other for the Square.
- 71 emulated chips offering Mixer, VCA, envelope, 12db filter, and Pulse Width Modulation for each of the available notes.
- Gorgeous 24db ladder filter, using the acclaimed XILS-lab zero-delay algorithm.
- 9 dedicated acoustic filters (Strings, Piano, Organ, Harps) were carefully reproduced from the original model.
- 1 resonator filter bank using 3 parametric filters (6 and 12db) matching the original model.
- Four Vintage effects (Delay, Phaser, Reverb, and Chorus)
- 9 modulation slots for endless sound possibilities.
- 1 monophonic envelope
- 3 monophonic, tempo sync-able, LFO
- All parameters are MIDI controllable
- More than 440 presets

Playing Guitar on a Keyboard has Never Been Easier
Creating a realistic guitar track from samples is a tough job. Guitar players voice chords differently, strumming is not easily reproduced on a keyboard, and guitar players use all sort of techniques such as palm muting, scratching and sliding simply not available on a keyboard. Strum GS-2 now does all of this for you!
![]()
![]()
-
Strum with MIDI Loops - Use the vast collection of recorded strumming patterns over the chords you play and find inspiration for your track. Drag and drop the loop to your host sequencer and make it perfect for your song.
-
The Right Voicings for the Chords You Know - Strum GS-2 chord library contains basic and extended chords available in open, movable, or drop voicings. Play the chords you know and Strum voices them automatically as a guitarist would.
-
Strum on Your Keyboard - Trigger down and upstrokes, scratches and mutes, or create picking patterns using the arpeggio keys.
-
Articulation and Expression - Slide and bend with the pitch wheel or aftertouch. Add vibrato with the modulation wheel. Natural hammer-ons and pull-offs when playing leads.
Guitar Craftmanship
Have you ever had the chance to create your own guitar? Strum GS-2 allows you to do just that by controlling every aspect in the making of your instrument.
-
Picks and Fingers - Hand picking or playing a heavy riff? Use a pick that is rounded or sharp, stiff or soft. Dig into the strings or use a light touch, play near the bridge or towards the neck for an evolving tone.
-
String by String - Select material and natural decay for each string. Precise control of coupling and interactions at the bridge breath life into your tone with beating and organic envelopes.
-
Pickups - Whether they are single coils or humbuckers, pickups are a fundamental part of the electric guitar sound. They shape the whole instrument’s response and their multiple configurations give tremendous tone flexibility.
-
Body Shopping - The soundboard of a guitar radiates vibrations from the strings. Choose a body size to colour the sound with specific resonances and find the right character.
-
Mutes and Scratches - As on a real guitar, strings interact with the player's hands and frets. Fine tune your rhythm parts and riffs with palm muting, scratches, and hammer-ons.
Bare Naked - All Suited Up
You’ll love the pure raw sound of Strum GS-2, but the built-in effects will bring it to so many places that you’ll enjoy having them on hand. And you have a chock-full of them to choose from: compressor, equalizer, delay, distortion, phaser, chorus, flanger, wah-wah and notch filters, and reverb.

- Strum with MIDI Loops - Use the vast collection of recorded strumming patterns over the chords you play and find inspiration for your track. Drag and drop the loop to your host sequencer and make it perfect for your song.
- The Right Voicings for the Chords You Know - Strum GS-2 chord library contains basic and extended chords available in open, movable, or drop voicings. Play the chords you know and Strum voices them automatically as a guitarist would.
- Strum on Your Keyboard - Trigger down and upstrokes, scratches and mutes, or create picking patterns using the arpeggio keys.
- Articulation and Expression - Slide and bend with the pitch wheel or aftertouch. Add vibrato with the modulation wheel. Natural hammer-ons and pull-offs when playing leads.
Guitar Craftmanship
Have you ever had the chance to create your own guitar? Strum GS-2 allows you to do just that by controlling every aspect in the making of your instrument.
- Picks and Fingers - Hand picking or playing a heavy riff? Use a pick that is rounded or sharp, stiff or soft. Dig into the strings or use a light touch, play near the bridge or towards the neck for an evolving tone.
- String by String - Select material and natural decay for each string. Precise control of coupling and interactions at the bridge breath life into your tone with beating and organic envelopes.
- Pickups - Whether they are single coils or humbuckers, pickups are a fundamental part of the electric guitar sound. They shape the whole instrument’s response and their multiple configurations give tremendous tone flexibility.
- Body Shopping - The soundboard of a guitar radiates vibrations from the strings. Choose a body size to colour the sound with specific resonances and find the right character.
- Mutes and Scratches - As on a real guitar, strings interact with the player's hands and frets.

- "What's extremely impressive is the multitude of chords the program recognize."

- "The modelled sound is remarkably realistic, and with care and practice fairly convincing strummed and arpeggiated rhythm parts can be achieved, as well as expressive solo lines."
- "Strum is entertaining and great fun to use, and a valid alternative to sample-based guitar emulations."
Marty Cutler (Electronic Musician) - "Utterly Convincing - 4/5"
- "Strum’s models are as good as it gets, and its accurate articulation and sophisticated chord voicing make it an utterly convincing chord-melody instrument, an excellent solo voice, and an agile accompanist. I recommend it highly."
